The SLX PRO 52 mold 4mm directional holes directly into the structure rather than drilling spoke holes which cut and destroy the carbon fibre creating weak spots. The method lets the carbon fibre smoothly wrap around each hole to keep the rim incredibly strong.
Even better, every hole is molded at a precise 3D angle that points straight toward the hub. This ensures the spokes pull perfectly in line, completely eliminating rim bulging, handling extreme spoke tension with ease, and saving extra weight.
